What it means
Apple's upcoming requirements page states that since September 9, 2026, iOS and iPadOS apps uploaded to App Store Connect must target iOS 13 or later. Xcode writes the deployment target to MinimumOSVersion in the app's Info.plist; that is the value checked.
Deadline
In force since September 9, 2026.
How to fix it
1. Raise the deployment target
IPHONEOS_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET = 13.02. Align CocoaPods and Flutter
# Podfile
platform :ios, '13.0'
post_install do |installer|
installer.pods_project.targets.each do |t|
t.build_configurations.each do |c|
c.build_settings['IPHONEOS_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET'] = '13.0'
end
end
endFlutter projects also set MinimumOSVersion in ios/Flutter/AppFrameworkInfo.plist; keep it consistent with the Podfile.
Check before you submit
Upload the IPA on the store check page. It runs APPSTORE-MIN-OS against the dates on this page, then deletes the file: nothing about the app is kept. The same engine runs offline in the Narvy CLI, and exits with code 1 when a blocker is found, so it can gate a CI job.
narvy store-check MyApp.ipaFAQ
Is this the same as the Xcode / SDK requirement?
No. ITMS-90725 is about the SDK you build with; this rule is about the oldest iOS version you support. Both are checked.
Does it apply to watchOS, tvOS or macOS apps?
Apple's statement is about iOS and iPadOS apps, so the check reports other platforms as not applicable.
